Today, the number of spam comments filtered by Akismet for this blog broke the 1,000 barrier.
The vast majority, easily more than 99%, of the spam is obvious nonsense. Like, a long list of links, or a comment containing a mess of garbage words. I’m still amazed that it’s profitable for someone to generate all that garbage.
