I’ve decided to pause my contacting recruiters, and will defer responding to any incoming pings unless the position or company is super interesting. My “dance card” feels sufficiently full now.
My balance between job searching and life feels correct. Time will tell if I should be more frenzied right now; if I’m living out of my car in five months and begging for a JavaScript job then I should have been more frenzied.
I use Camo to make use of my iPhone as a webcam. Sometimes Zoom won’t recognize the Camo feed as a video source if it was installed before Camo was installed. The solution is to uninstall and then reinstall Zoom. This isn’t just folklore, it’s been documented that there’s a stuck bit in the Zoom app if it’s installed before Camo is installed. WTF.
