Unless you’re a celebrity, building an audience for a YouTube channel is a long, slow climb.
My Old Guy, Career Change channel has been up for 14 weeks. My first 10 videos were terrible but that’s normal for new content creators. As of today it’s amassed 2.3K views and 72 subscribers.
My other channel, John’s Film Photography, has been up for only 2 1/2 weeks and its launch overlapped with my camera being out for repair. That’s the sort of thing that can put a dent in a photography channel. Sixteen views and 6 subscribers — it barely exists yet.
