I just stumbled upon djangosearch.com, a search site focusing on all things Django. There was a django-users posting about it in November of 2007, but I didn’t pursue it at the time. (I’d give the author a tip of the hat, but all I have is an e-mail address and a mailing list pseudonym. And yes, I tried searching for his/her blog page, using the e-mail address.)
The site’s spiders seem to crawl from a manually-updated database. You can submit a site or resource via an e-mail message, and they’ll evaluate it for inclusion. Presently, the site crawls:
djangoproject.com
djangobook.com
djangosites.org
djangoapi.matee.net
djangoapi.quamquam.org

It has a resources and articles section, with links for submitting candidates for manual inclusion.
Thank you!
That’s right, the sites and articles will be added manually after checking, so that the djangosearch had the highly relevant content. Its great that the site is useful!
John,
If you’re interested… check out:

You can use it to find class/function definitions in the Django Source Code.
