I’ve registered for PyCon 2009. I signed up for four tutorials plus the conference; I’m undecided about staying on for the sprints. I’ll extend my stay if I hear of a sprint that interests me.
I’m paying for this out of my own pocket, but my company is letting me go without using vacation time. Given the economy’s current state and my department’s budgetary challenges, that’s decent of them, and I’m thankful.
