We grind through masses of data to find great connections between people. We’re not sifting through lifeless data like online ad views, marketing analytics, or real-estate commissions. Our data is the stuff of personal connections, relationships, and desires!

At the core of Coffee Meets Bagel is our matching algorithm. Our users love how CMB curates perfect matches for them every day. We are looking for someone with experience building data models and pipelines at scale in order to take our matching algorithm to the next level as we continue to grow our userbase.
You will be responsible for improving our algorithm and data infrastructure. This will involve refining existing models and proposing new ones. You will work closely with our CEO, CTO and the data / engineering teams to implement your ideas and deploy them to production.
You should have:
- Masters or equivalent industry experience in Computer Science or Engineering
- Expertise with machine learning and statistics
- 3+ years of industry experience implementing machine learning algorithms, architecting large scale, distributed systems>
- Passion for building and delivering high quality products, a deep sense of ownership
